ENTRY 50 ANIMAL FARM THEMES

The Corruption of Socialist Ideals in the Soviet Union.
Animal Farm is most famous in the West as a stinging critique of the history and rhetoric of the Russian Revolution. Retelling the story of the emergence and development of Soviet communism in the form of an animal fable, Animal Farm allegorizes the rise to power of the dictator Joseph Stalin. In the novella, the overthrow of the human oppressor Mr. Jones by a democratic coalition of animals quickly gives way to the consolidation of power among the pigs. Much like the Soviet intelligentsia, the pigs establish themselves as the ruling class in the new society.
The struggle for preeminence between Leon Trotsky and Stalin emerges in the rivalry between the pigs Snowball and Napoleon. In both the historical and fictional cases, the idealistic but politically less powerful figure (Trotsky and Snowball) is expelled from the revolutionary state by the malicious and violent usurper of power (Stalin and Napoleon). The purges and show trials with which Stalin eliminated his enemies and solidified his political base find expression in Animal Farm as the false confessions and executions of animals whom Napoleon distrusts following the collapse of the windmill. Stalin’s tyrannical rule and eventual abandonment of the founding principles of the Russian Revolution are represented by the pigs’ turn to violent government and the adoption of human traits and behaviors, the trappings of their original oppressors.

ENTRY 48 JUDAS PRIEST TRIAL

This explores the issue of junk science in the context of a specific trial-the Judas Priest trial that unfolded in Reno, Nevada, in the summer of 1990. Two teenage boys, James Vance and Ray Belknap, had attempted suicide. At the time of the shootings, Belknap died instantly. Vance was severely injured but he lived, only to die of drug complications three years later. The plaintiffs (the boys' parents) alleged that subliminal messages hidden in the heavy metal rock music that Vance and Belknap listened to contributed to their suicidal impulse. This trial is interesting for a number of reasons. First, it provides a classic example of junk science. Second, the trial established a legal precedent that has already influenced the ruling in a similar subsequent suit. Third, it provides a good forum for illustrating some important and often misunderstood aspects of subliminal perception.
Judas Priest was a British heavy metal rock band-one of the first of that genre. Their popularity peaked in the mid-70s. The album in question (Stained Class) was produced in 1978; the shootings took place in December 1985. It was alleged that a particular subliminal phrase in one of their songs ("Better by You Better Than Me") on the album triggered a suicidal impulse. The phrase at issue was "Do It." In isolation, this phrase has little meaning unless there is some antecedent to which the "It" refers. Moreover, the antecedent could not have been anything that was audible on the record (or visible on the album cover), because such material would have been protected by the First Amendment. Consequently the plaintiffs were in the difficult position of having to acknowledge that the boys were suicidal to begin with, and that the subliminal phrase "Do It" triggered the already existing disposition.

ENTRY 47 THE KILLER IN THE BACKSEAT

One night a woman went out for drinks with her girlfriends. She left the bar fairly late at night, got in her car and onto the deserted highway. She noticed a lone pair of headlights in her rear-view mirror, approaching at a pace just slightly quicker than hers. As the car pulled up behind her she glanced and saw the turn signal on — the car was going to pass — when suddenly it swerved back behind her, pulled up dangerously close to her tailgate and the brights flashed.
Now she was getting nervous. The lights dimmed for a moment and then the brights came back on and the car behind her surged forward. The frightened woman struggled to keep her eyes on the road and fought the urge to look at the car behind her. Finally, her exit approached but the car continued to follow, flashing the brights periodically.
Through every stoplight and turn, it followed her until she pulled into her driveway. She figured her only hope was to make a mad dash into the house and call the police. As she flew from the car, so did the driver of the car behind her — and he screamed, "Lock the door and call the police! Call 911!"
When the police arrived the horrible truth was finally revealed to the woman. The man in the car had been trying to save her. As he pulled up behind her and his headlights illuminated her car, he saw the silhouette of a man with a butcher knife rising up from the back seat to stab her, so he flashed his brights and the figure crouched back down.

ENTRY 46 JESUS ON THE HIGHWAY

A couple are driving along a highway, when they see a young man.well dressed, hitchhiking on the side of the road. It's pretty hot, and he seems safe enough, so they stop and pick him up.
When he gets in their car, he is silent for many miles. As they approacha tollbooth, he leans forward and whispers, "Jesus will come again,". When they arrive at the tollbooth, the wife turns around to retrieveher purse, and is startled to see that the young man is gone.
Worried that he might have been hurt, the husband tells the tolltaker about the young man they had picked up, and he repliesthat he's heard that story 20 times in the last two weeks, and no onehas seen the vanishing hitchhiker to his final destination.
For obvious reasons, I am not going to debate the validity of this story, only comment that it has circulated throughout for the last five years or so, always having happened to a"Friend of a Friend".

ENTRY 45 MARY IS GONE

One cold Winter night around 1934, a young girl was killed in an accident coming home from the O. Henry Ballroom (now Willowbrook Ballroom) on Archer Avenue in Justice, a southern suburb of Chicago. Her name was Mary and many believe that she may have been a young Polish girl named Mary Bregavy, although her exact identity is still unknown. The girl was buried in Resurrection Cemetery, dressed in her favorite gown and wearing the same dancing shoes she had worn on her final date.
She rested peacefully for the next five years, but in 1939 a cab driver picked up a young girl on Archer Avenue wearing a white gown. It was a snowy January night, but the girl was not wearing a coat. She jumped in the front door of the cab and sat by the driver. She gave him instructions to get her home, saying that he needed to go north on Archer. Suddenly, she told him to stop and the driver looked out the window to where she had pointed. He turned back to the passenger seat and saw that the girl had vanished. . .and the door had never opened. The cab was directly in front of Resurrection Cemetery.

ENTRY 44 MY TUCUMAN

San Miguel de Tucumán (usually referred to as simply Tucumán) is the largest city in north Argentina, with a population of 525,853 per the 2001 census [INDEC]. The metropolitan area totals 806,000, making it the fifth-largest in the country. It is the capital of the province of Tucumán. It was founded in 1565 by Spanish Diego de Villarroel travelling south from Peru and was moved to the present site in 1685.
The city is bordered on the north by Las Talitas (Tafí Viejo), on the east by
Banda del Río Salí and Alderetes (Cruz Alta), on the west by the city of Yerba Buena, and on the south by Lules.
The city sits on the slopes of the Aconquija mountains, the easternmost mountain range before the large
Chaco-Pampean flats. It is the commercial center of an irrigated area that produces large quantities of sugarcane, rice, tobacco, and fruit, and provides the province with its nickname, the Garden of the Republic. The National University of Tucumán (1914) and the Saint Thomas Aquinas University of the North (1965) are in the city.
On
July 9, 1816 a congress gathered in Tucumán declared the independence from Spain, which did not officially recognize it until 1862. The meeting place of the congress, the House of Tucumán, has been reconstructed as a national monument.

ENTRY 43 WE WERE HAPPY THEN?

When I was in kindergarten, I rode the bus to school one mile away from our house and usually walked home. No one thought anything of it, and it helped broaden the horizons of my little world. There was a nice creek were I studiously worked on my rock collection.
If you had a kid do that today, you'd be up on charges. I'm not saying there isn't a good reason for the change. It makes sense. It's hard to imagine doing that today but we're lesser for it.
On the other hand ...
I can recall, as most of us can, when the word "cancer" was a death sentence. I've lost friends and family to cancer, but I also have friends and family still living and laughing and doing great things people I love and cherish and plan to love and cherish for a good long time because now doctors can do so many amazing things that have become routine and taken for granted. We are certainly better for that.
I'm a little amused and little annoyed at the conspiracies of ether, the urban myths and willful misreadings of how things used to be that zap hither and beyond on the Internet. The subtext is not just that the world has changed and it's bad, but rather that some dark force or gang of bad guys decided to take away all of the good things just for the sake of meanness.
Get over it. No one forced us all to install a satellite dish, buy a new car, and live the life in the fast lane that's glorified on TV. The world is too hectic of a place, but it's the result of a thousand little decisions and demands that we all make. We say we want to slow down, but we never get around to it until tomorrow.

ENTRY 42 GOOD OLD DAYS? REALLY?

I'm confused. There is nothing much new in that, but I've become aware of a major contradiction, and it has my brain in a knot.
Let us delve into the land of myth, nostalgia and wishful thinking.
Statement one: Back in my day, things were simple. Mama dried the laundry on a rope out back, and we walked to school. Life was so much better.
Statement two: These kids today have it so easy. They don't know how easy they have it. We walked walked to school, five miles, uphill both ways, and most days it was 110 degrees and there was five feet of snow. PlayStation? Ha. We had a stick yeah, one stick for every kid on the block and we used it to hit home runs, gun down Nazis and catch fish for dinner. Soft. These kids today are soft.
So which is it? Life was better then, or life is better now?
I'll say life is just different.
Sure, simpler always seems better in the rear-view mirror. But are any of us willing to trade in ESPN, the Discovery Channel and 24/7 weather and go back to the days of three over-the-air local network affiliates and one fuzzy public station? I doubt it. If complexity means clicking and clicking the remote to sort out the dozens of viewing options, I can handle it.
Those same dozens of channels do their in-your-face part to throw so much of the world right into the laps of young people, and that's not so good. When I was young, none of us had much sense of our purpose in the great adventure as little consumers-in-training. Today, as you flip past Nickelodeon and other channels, it's hard to escape the idea that being a marketing target is just one of the facts of life.

ENTRY 41ROBOTS ARE THE KEY TO THE FUTURE.

I believe that robots, not spaceships, should be the focus of technological development in the future.First, robots are much less expensive to develop and build than spaceships. The cost of any spaceship is many millions of dollars more than the cost of the most sophisticated robot.Second, robots have far useful applications on Earth right now.Even the robots we have now can work in dangerous conditions that humans cannot, such as extreme heat or cold. They can rescue people in collapsed mines, take apart bombs work underwater, and help with delicate microscopic surgery. They are useful to society now in ways that spaceships are not.Third, robots can improve the life of the individual on a personal level.Robots can be developed to clean the house,do the shopping, cook, help children with difficult homework, play games, and keep track of the health of their human owners.NO spaceship will ever affect the lives of individuals in such a way.
In conclusion, our lives will be better, sooner, when robots receive the attention, money, and time that spaceships get now.

ENTRY 40 U.S.A... DARK CLOUDS ARE COMING!!

Always we have heard people talking about the height and the fall of empires. All of them have their apogee and its decay. This old saying reflects an inexorable destiny.
At the moment, news are around the horizon of the United States, the superpower militarily dominating the globe. The United States has entered in an economic and social slopedown. The first alert is related to the fall of the working middle-class , and to what I consider the less and unfair equitable distribution of wealth. Without a doubt, this is a qualitative change in the North American society, with direct consequences for its democracy and its political future.
Finally, the war and the construction of a new State in Iraq, the high expenses of the foreign policy in Africa and the Middle East. The expensive commitments related to the military defence that the United States has with the European Union, and an economic policy that favours the escape of North American money towards more promissory countries, in which the working hour is cheaper than the Us or Europe, this definitely increases the deficit of the country. Then, will the United States be able to maintain his great superpower status? It depends, more than nothing, of its political class. This political class ,the capacity and the will to revert these tendencies, and to plan an economic policy outside the accepted globalization?.
So far, neither the Congress nor the White House have demonstrated to have those capabilities.

ENTRY 39 WATER WASTE IN TAFI VIEJO.SAT DO NOT CARE ABOUT IT!!

Our local water company SAT advises the population in what way each family must ration the use of our water and also tell us not to waste the precious liquid. However, the same company allows that on a daily basis thousands of litres in almost all the streets of Tafí Viejo are spilled. For example, in Eva Perón, Corrientes, La Rioja, Tucumán,Reconquista and many more streets. In what refers to avenues, almost all of them are wasting our water, the wasting of water in great amounts are historical. There are zones that count on this service only four hours per day; others, people must get up early in order to to get water for the rest of the day. In our CAPS, where hygiene is so important, they have the same problem too. Many schools are deprived of the water service completely without concerning the danger of diseases that this terrible fact could cause to children and teachers as well. The funny thing of this is that we must pay the total of the bill, when we should have our fair discount. The equivalent of the lack of provision during the period in which they carry out these cuts. Once and for all they must invest to provide a basic solution to this problem. Only then we will be able to talk about great things done by the irresponsible SAT !

ENTRY 38 CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER ON THE ROAD TO SAN JAVIER

Like a native inhabitant, proud tucumano of our land, I went with my family to visit the blessing Christ and his new set of powerful lights, located in the hills of San Javier. It was all an excellent adventure. We moved from the University City ( 6 km of distance approximately towards the Christ). Then all of a sudden around a dozen of horses appeared walking along the sides of the motorway. The danger that it entails is proportional to the irresponsibility of the ignorant owners. This is repeated every single day .Now,what about the responsible organisms controlling that horses in our roads? Is it so difficult to detect and to punish those who are the irresponsible owners of more or less 12 horses that take a nice walk by The San Javier Hills ? Or are we waiting a new accident to happen?, just then,we will protest ?

ENTRY 37 TIAHUANACO,MISTERIES ON THE ANDES.

At 3846 metres of height, in a deserted landscape in the Andes, there exist the remains of an ancient pre-Incaic empire of warriors plenty of legends and mysteries, it is one of the most controversial archaeological sites all over the world.
When I looked at the monuments of Tiahuanaco, I got impressed by the perfection and majesty of these monolithic buildings that have resisted to wind and ice over thousands years. Archaeologists agree about the fact that the monoliths of Tiahuanaco have been built by the same culture in the period around 1200 b.C., but their opinions are different about the origins of this culture. Since the nearness to the Titicaca Lake, people ate fish . Tiahuanacotas warriors developed ceramics, with incisions and motifs, pictures in red, grey and white.I was told that the Tiahuanacotas warriors covered their heads with puma or jaguar skins wanting to achieve the agility and the savagery of these felines.
The central figure on the Sun Gate is the image of a face in tears. The most suggestive part of Tiahuanaco is the temple of Kalassasaya. There are three important monuments inside: the Ponce monolith, the monolith of the devotee and the famous Sun Gate, a huge arc cut in only one andesite piece. On the face are the most elaborated expression of the Tiahuanaco art. Up to today nobody has succeeded in explaining the origin of this population, able to build a metropolis on a sterile tableland. A theory involves Celtic navigators (that would explain the beard of the monolith). Other theories even more daring, take into consideration vanished continents and antediluvian cultures. But the mystery is still there.

ENTRY 36 The Benefits and Disadvantages of Homeschooling

I am trying to figure out whether homeschooling will work for any family.
Below you'll find some of the benefits and disadvantages of homeschooling. After reading it, you should be able to better identify whether or not homeschooling may be right for you and your family. If you take time to think about each benefit and disadvantage and apply it to your personal situation.

Benefits of Homeschooling
You get to...

  • Control what your children learn and when they learn it.

  • Protect your children from the negative influences they may encounter outside the home.

  • Teach more effectively by interacting with your children 1-on-1.

  • Address "big issues" with your children when you feel they're ready.

Potential Disadvantages of Homeschooling
You may have to...

  • Be very patient with your children when it seems they aren't learning anything at all.

  • Spend more money on your children's education than you're accustomed to.

  • Encourage your children even when you don't feel like it.

  • Justify homeschooling to family and friends who oppose your decision to learn at home.

Although no exhaustive, I hope this list of the benefits of homeschooling, and also the disadvantages of homeschooling, gives you valuable homeschooling information you can use to reach a decision.
Making the decision to homeschool is often a difficult process, but that process is worth it. You definitely wouldn't want homeschool if it's not right for you; and you definitely wouldn't want to miss the chance on homeschooling if it is right for you.
So, do your homeschool pros and cons research carefully with your family and take the time you need to make an informed decision.

ENTRY 35 THE DIVORCE RATE

The great myth about divorce is that marital break up is an increasing threat to Latin families, with each generation finding their marriages less stable than those of their parents. I have read that the story of ever-increasing divorce is a powerful narrative. It is also wrong. In fact, the divorce rate has been falling continuously over the past quarter-century, and is now at its lowest level since 1970. While marriage rates are also declining, those marriages that do occur are increasingly more stable. For instance, marriages that began in the 1990s were more likely to celebrate a 10th anniversary than those that started in the 1980s, which, in turn, were also more likely to last than marriages that began back in the 1970s.
The facts are that divorce is down, and today’s marriages are more stable than they have been in decades.
Family is very important for us.Do not believe about what other people may tell you.

ENTRY 34 AT LAST,JACKIE CHAN AND JET LI JOINING FORCES.

I have been waiting for this many years, In The Forbidden Kingdom, 2 Chinese kung fu superstars Jackie Chan and Jet Li will be joining forces.
The world and me are waiting for the clash of the titans. All eyes are on the first action film featuring two of the most famous Chinese kung fu superstars – Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Usually Jet Li is the action director for most of his movies. But this time he decided not to do that. He said that he wanted to be fair and not impose his own fighting styles in this movie because he (Li) is in it.
I am very pleased that they will have Yuen Wo Ping as their choreographer as he is familiar with both of them.

Chan, Li, the cast and crew of The Forbidden Kingdom were doing a shoot set in ancient China and at a film studio.
The story is about a young American (Michael Angarano) who wishes he knew Chinese martial arts.
When the young man finds a mysterious fighting staff in a shop in Boston’s Chinatown, he is transported back in time to ancient China. There he finds himself part of a dangerous quest of returning a lost staff to the Monkey King.
He meets the characters played by Li and Chan and others from classical Chinese fighting novels and legends. Finally, he learns the real meaning of kung fu. The main actors and crew assembled at Hengdian where several fight and romance scenes were being shot.
The characters in the film include Jason Tripitikas (Michael Angarano), Lu Yan (Jackie Chan), Silent Monk (Li), Golden Sparrow (Liu Yifei), Grey-Haired Demoness (Li Bingbing) and Jade Warlord (Collin Chou).
The film is scheduled to be released before the Beijing Olympic Games 2008 to be held next August.

They are my favourite actors and I started watching Li’s movies like Shaolin Temple when I was finishing secondary school.
I will wait for the film eagerly .

ENTRY 33,(revision of entry 32)KISS OF THE DRAGON,THEME

As I wrote in my32 entry, promises are relevant in life and I believe that keeping one's word is one of the most basic principles of human conduct.
In Kiss of the Dragon, the theme of the story also revolves around one man's promise to a woman. The protagonist is not an earth shaking hero who saves the day, but instead of that , a very professional and dedicated worker. What happens is that he inadvertently makes a promise to a woman. In fact keeping his word may not be in his best interest, but in the end he decides that a man must keep his word. In order to fulfill this promise, though, he might have to violate the rules of his work, the orders of his superiors and possibly even the laws of his country. This is exactly the kind of thing that he has been indoctrinated not to do. But he feels that his integrity as an individual must come first.
Call me a very traditional person, but I feel very strongly about these things. The movie is about a simple, subtle promise. Of course, the action sequences in Kiss of the Dragon are very realistic and grounded like those in Fist of Legend . It is an action movie, but it's not purely about action. There's a strong flavor of something else inside.

ENTRY 32 KISS OF THE DRAGON ,THE FILM.(JET LI).

Just last night I watched again the completed version of Kiss of the Dragon.
After Romeo Must Die was released many fans gave their opinions about the film -- what they liked and didn't like, what they wanted to see in Jet's future films -- and so I realized that many of these suggestions were accepted when developing Kiss of the Dragon. I also gave my honest opinion.
The film utilizes very realistic, hard-core, action-packed fight sequences. I'm very happy of the final result and I hope that the other fans enjoy the film too. However, this is a fim that I do not feel is appropriate for children.
Over the years, I've read many suggestions from people about which of Jet's films are their favorite. Some people like Fist of Legend ... some people like My Father is a Hero. It is impossible to please all of the people in the world a film. Kiss of the Dragon is an adult movie and deals with adult themes of a man keeping his promise and understanding his responsibilities. The action scenes are also directed towards an adult audience and as such the movie is rated R. I believe that you please do not let your young children to see Kiss of the Dragon.
If you would like a movie to share with your children,The One is a PG-13 film and more appropriate for younger children to view.
Finally,I want to say that I'm happy with how this movie turned out and I hope that after watching it, you will share my enthusiasm.

ENTRY 30(revision of entry 25)

In the book Fahrenheit 451, written by Ray Bradbury, the author has added the effect of parallelism of today's society and his fictional society in which Guy Montag, the main character, lives. There are both similarities and differences to the societies, such as their society burns books, and our society ban them. The similarities are that our societies authorities are taking away our first right, the freedom of press.Things that you can compare from the fictional society and today's society is that there is a amazing technology, the technology of the Mechanical Hound, the hand key, the seashell, the green bullet, the parlor. Today's society is technical; we have small computers, big and flat televisions, movile phones, fax machines, ATMs.Things you can contrast are how much better their technology is. They have walkie-talkies and radios that fit in your ear instead of in your hand, Televisions that are used as walls instead of eye sores on the wall. Their way of executing someone is by the Mechanical Hound, a deadly robot with poison, apposed to our society's lethal injection .But,do you think that living in a technical world would destroy human relationships?.Technology is very advanced and seems to get people's attention. "You're not important. You're not anything" (Bradbury 163). This quote makes you realize that technology is taking over humans and the world has to do something about it.What do we have to do to prevent technology from taking over us? Do we have to risk our lives? if people read books, they will learn about the history of the world and aspects they don't understand. Books will teach people new lessons without the use of technology. Like I mentioned before, technology is also damaging ways of communicating. People focus more on technology than in their personal lives. If we communicate a lot more and become more social, we would probably get along better with each other and this will make fewer conflicts in the world.

ENTRY 29

Reading is the key to both knowledge and intellectual ability. It opens the door to the treasury of human thought and knowledge.
The custom of reading and the love of books must be established in childhood. If you want your children tobe wise and successful at school and in life, read to them aloud daily for 20 minutes. You must not postpone reading to your children.Start as soon as possible.When?.Let us read to an infant, holding him in our arms, looking at him with love , and arousing his interest with our voice,in this way a lasting association of reading with a feeling of security, pleasure ,and closeness is formed.Additionally,it stimulates his mental development.
Reading aloud teaches children to think,it helps them to understand other people ,the world and themselves , arouses interest develops imagination ,stimulates emotional development ,cultivates sensitivity and empathy, teaches moral values and builds self-esteem.Undoubtedly,it is the antidote against many undesirable influences that threaten children's minds and hearts.

As a father of two daughters ,my heart was deeply touched by doing this king of reading. It really works.I recommend it to you.I wish that all the world's parents could read their children.
While reading to your children try to use good diction and pronunciation.A child learns language by hearing parents speak. With very good children, point out and name people and objects depicted in story-books .When the childis older ,choose books that focus on his current favourite topics.

ENTRY 28

Have you seen Schindler’s List? . I would like you to comment some of the main aspecst about this marvellous film.
Oskar Schindler struggles to save a group of Jews from death at the hands of the Nazis.
Schindler, a Nazi war profiteer and womanizer, upon witnessing increasing violence and killing of Jews in Nazi-occupied Poland, undergoes a slow transformation, becoming a compassionate man obsessed with saving the lives of the Jewish workers in his factory.
As Schindler witnesses the evacuation of the Kraków ghetto, he sees a little girl in a red coat. The image and the violence he witnesses so move him that his humanity is awakened, and he realizes he must do something to help.
After witnessing the evacuation of the Jewish ghetto, Schindler realizes his factory is a heaven for Jews and begins actively to give Stern expensive goods to use as bribes to bring more Jews into his factory, where he can keep them at least somewhat safe.I found this themes . The triumph of the human spirit; the difference one individual can make; the dangerous ease of denial
Lists; trains; death
The girl in the red coat; the road paved with Jewish headstones; piles of personal items.
Schindler has to rescue Stern from a train bound for a death camp, foreshadowing his eventual rescue of all of his workers. The appearance of tables for processing Jews foreshadows death. Schindler’s use of bribery early in the film for his own gain foreshadows his use of bribery to purchase the Jews.

ENTRY 27(revision of entry 8)

I am 35 years old,I like to read a lot, especially about our great history. However,Malvinas war was one of the many that call my attention.I have read,I have watched, and I have listened a lot about this issue. So as far as I know,I believe I may have the right to write about this hot issue.I am aware that many young countrymen who fought in that improvised war, were severely punished for their actions or lack of actions in combat. But I have to take into consideration both sides of the story.I was a soldier in 1991 ,I belonged to the glorious 19th infantry regiment corp located in Tucuman at that time. Therefore, I know the military code and I also know that during war times, lack of discipline, mutiny and cowardice are punished with the capital punishment.I have to be consciously objective in my analysis of whatever has happened in our islands.I only want justice, but not a manipulated justice for those who fought and died in our islands.Let us refer back to our memory and give the war veterans the recognition and justice they deserve and expect from us so eagerly. I WILL NOT DISAPPOINT THEM,WILL YOU?.
FERNANDA MARTIN SAID :My friend promises are promises and I take them seriously. I read your entry but It let me shattered into pieces as soon as I percieved the indignation and dejection this topic brings about to me, to my mind.Yet what i most value is your persistance in a topic which is still regarded a hot debate in our society nowadays.

ENTRY 26 (revision of entry 4)

I'm one of the lucky who found the path to happiness and fitness ,and that path is practising Tai chi.Tai chi is recommended for everyone ,without age limit,it is for you and me ,for your friends and my friends. All the people are welcomed to this discipline.I hope some day we gather to share it,and I'll say:thanks for coming!!!!.you are welcome to change your life, you are welcome to re-born.A new beggining is ahead.Don't waste your time, hurry up!!!
Nowadays, my first priority in life is practising Tai Chi.By practising everyday,I feel better than before (I devote 40' a day, at least), If I feel happy , I can study,I can work, I can enjoy my family ,I can reinforce the relationship with my peers and classmates, etc.
By practising Tai Chi Chuan,I have realized that I have many things to correct in my life. Before that, may be I did not want to open my eyes and to see the bad aspects of my soul.Frailties that are difficult to erase or change in a blink of an eye from my soul. Not to worry, or not to get angry, or not to be sad to mention a few of them. Those feelings are present in our everyday life. Those are feelings that cause us suffering and pain.Feelings that we must get rid of and reject from our heart.Otherwise they will ruin our body and soul, and we have just one body!!!!!.I don't want to sound over-optimist or careless or cold heart. The fact is that I do have my worries,I do get angry and I do get sad,but the big difference is that the time piriod of that terrible feeling is getting shorter everyday.WE WERE BORN TO BE HAPPY, NOT TO SUFFER!!!!!.DIFFICULT, BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!

ENTRY 25

In the book Fahrenheit 451, written by Ray Bradbury, the author has added the effect of parallelism of today's society and his fictional society in which Guy Montag, the main character, lives. There are both similarities and differences to the societies, such as their society burns books, and our society ban them.
The similarities are that our societies authorities are taking away our first right, the freedom of press.
Things that you can compare from the fictional society and today's society is that there is a amazing technology, the technology of the Mechanical Hound, the hand key, the seashell, the green bullet, the parlor. Today's society is technical; we have small computers, big and flat televisions, movile phones, fax machines, ATMs.
Things you can contrast are how much better their technology is. They have walkie-talkies and radios that fit in your ear instead of in your hand, Televisions that are used as walls instead of eye sores on the wall. Their way of executing someone is by the Mechanical Hound, a deadly robot with poison, apposed to our society's lethal injection .

ENTRY 24

"Dogs are barking Sancho, signal that we ride”. The phrase, said by the noble Don Quixote De La Mancha, was used textually by Marcelo Tinelli days before, when he answer the Comfer, that had sanctioned his program “ShowMatch” by its famous “EROTIC POLE DANCE”.There is a reality that hurts: television lives in a constant vertigo, and not only by the atrocious competition between channel 13 and Telefe channel by rating points but also because he has arrived to an evil level . Sanity that, apparently, is rather far. Mainly, by the decision of Mr T(whose name I do not care to recall)to double the bet and to organise a new dance, this time with striptease included. But the pole dancing generated an effect that still continues shaking all the media. This week, all the newspapers were overloaded by letters that criticised not only the excesses of ShowMatch but also the scandals of the Argentine television, and made reference to cycles of a deep intellectual poverty but of great potential for the scandals, like the famous “big Brother”.We have seen the naked dancing of Julio Bocca and nobody was scandalised by it, because he is erotic, but of good taste and cultural quality.Cheap eroticism is necessary to leave it for porno videos. It is certain that we are free to turn off the television set or to change the channel. But it is also certain that what is seen at night and that generated more than 25 points of rating, is repeated in each one of the cycles in the morning and in the afternoon . The worse aspect of this, without a doubt, is the false success model that transmits to young children and adolescents. And it is here where government and parents must react and act at once. Because it would be very sad that in the near future, we end up seeing how, in the 15 celebration parties , the traditional waltz dance is replaced by an almost porno POLE DANCE around which the girls move their adolescent bodies to the rythm of any music.

ENTRY 23-My dear Santa Cruz de la Sierra.Bolivia, my 2nd home.PART 1

I miss my way of living in Santa Cruz.I miss my ex-job ,I miss my friends, ex-colleagues, and students.
Santa Cruz de La Sierra, commonly known as Santa Cruz, is the capital city of the Santa Cruz department in eastern Bolivia. With a population of 1,528,683 inhabitants (2006 official estimate[2]), Santa Cruz is the largest city in Bolivia. The city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra is located in the eastern part of the country (17°45', South, 63°14', West) at 416 m above sea level. This city is part of the province of Andres Ibañez and it's the capital of the department (state) of Santa Cruz Bolivia.
The weather is semi-tropical, with an average annual temperature around 21°C (or 70°F). Although the weather is generally warm all year round, cold wind patterns, called "surazos", can blow in occasionally (especially in the winter) from the Argentine pampas making the temperature drop considerably. Official flag of Santa Cruz de la SierraCoat of arms of Santa Cruz de la Sierra
(Flag and Coat of arms) .

I arrived in Santa Cruz in 2002,expecting to find a job ,a new beginning, and a new home. After the arrival ,I felt quite nervous, ,but not frightened. It was a new city,a new culture ,a new environment, and a new country to know.Since I did not know where to go first ,I decided heading towards downtown.Once there,I looked for a cheap hotel ,because I only had the sum of U$S 115 .So I had to figure out how to expend the little money I had on me.I looked for about an hour around the city centre then I finally entered the small but cozy hotel. When I got into my room , I left me backpack and some other stuff on my bed and I went to sleep straightaway. It seemed that the bed was calling me ,waiting to give a nice and warm hug. That was at about 10 am.I woke up at about 6 pm ,I had been travelling for almost 48 hours.
Next morning, I met a person of my acquaintance.PABLO AGUIRRE,I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT HE DID FOR ME.He allowed me to stay in his flat. And I did it for 14 days, until I found a low rent room.I remenber that day ,it was thursday. In the morning I started to find a job , as a teacher, or to have ajob at least.Later in time , I prepared my suit, and my curriculum vitae.
On friday morning, I moved towards thew city centre, where I supposed the majority of schools were. But after walking only 2 blocks ,I saw the first and my only school I worked for during those marvellous and miraculous 4 years.
My unforgettable COLEGIO EVANGELICO METODISTA INSTITUTO AMERICANO JUAN WESLEY.

ENTRY 22

Stop, if the excrements and the urine of the dogs allow you in any of the city corners . Raise your sight and try to watch, before a cloud of toxic smoke (blown by buses that take printed the decree 3601, that advises not to play, not to smoke, not to drink and not to drug ) contaminate your lungs. You will observe that numerous and immense buildings are constructed, without pause, in downtown. Two of them in Cordoba first square, one in Balcarce 300, another one in Mendoza 100, another one in San Juan first square; and if you turn around, you will discover many others. The noises of the constructions are non-stop . There are no schedules for the profit. Without pause, the collapse of the water networks is prepared, of sewers, and electricity itself. Is respected some type of urban planning for the future? If there is, I doubt it. If you walk by Cordoba first square you will admire the residential complex of the Catalan architect Balsells, from 1927.I read taht it was declared of architectonic interest. It is made up of seven houses. Nevertheless, in number 62, something will dull the view to them. One of them has been demolished and in its replacement you will see a construction that breaks the harmony of the set. Is it that the laws are not respected? Who controls those buildings? Is it that the State and the province watch towards another part?.

ENTRY 21

To drink alcohol and to smoke used to be considered fashionable, but now are very bad habits ,they also are awful and terrible diseases. They are anti-social even almost criminal.I will tell why.
If we look at the facts ,as a nation we spent more on alcohol and tobacco than we do on educating our children ,or on doctors ,medicine and hospitals.Smokers and alcoholics of course are far more likely to come down with diseases like cirrhosis, cancer or chronic bronchitis, and have to be treated at the nation's expense, but not only do they ruin their own health but that of others like their families as well.In the case of smokers ,they force us to inhale the poison they blow into the air. This ,of course is dreadfully anti-social behaviour.
Having said that ,I would like to suggest the ways that ought to be done.
First, double or triple the tax on all forms of tobacco and alcohol.Second, ban all forms of alcohol and tobacco advertising.Third, ban smoking itself in all restaurants, public meetings places and places like schools and hospitals, because the 7575 law against smoking in public places recently passed in Tucuman, is not respected, not even in our institute ,Lola Mora .And fourth, protect young people more than we do at present day.
Now,I would like to discuss the kind of protection I have in mind.Among other strategies we could set the highest fine on anyone who sells tobacco and alcohol to people under the age of 18.And we could and must intensify our efforts to educate young people -to show them the dreadful effects of these horrendous habits-diseases.

ENTRY 20

Last week I travelled to Buenos Aires, due to the fact that I needed to run errands related to my recent bought house.I felt happy going there. There had been four long years since the last time I met my family. How colourful and amazing is Buenos Aires .How beautiful is autopista del sol,how nice and neat are the main entrances to the city.I arrived in the capital city at eight am sharp, the weather was extremely cold,1º C.Then I took the electric train to Villa Vallester ,where my family live.Once in Villa Vallester,my father and I decided to give them a surprise. We pretended to be postmen, and after ringing the bell my dear aunt appeared, she got shocked almost instantly. But she recovered in no time, she was delighted. Then, almost crying told us that she felt like having a deja-vu days before our arrival.
After the emotions,I met my grandmother ,uncle and cousins, they were all joyful. We were glad too,but rather tired by the trip.
On monday morning,my father and I devoted our time to finish the errands.Later in time,we thought we should buy some presents for my daughters and my lovely wife.So we took the train to San Martin city where the best shops are.Once we got there,we walked the whole pedestrian area ,enjoying our time a lot.We got surprised by the good quality and cheapness of the offers. Then having spent almost our entire money, we realized that it was time to go back to Vallester, the city where we were staying.
Tuesday began and with it the time to prepare our suitcases.Tucuman and our families where waiting for us.At 8.05 pm the confortable and neat bus started the journey, from Retiro bus station to San Miguel de Tucuman. We arrived in Tucuman five hours late because the bus brokedown in the middle of the road.
But that is another story......

ENTRY 19

I watched a nice film recently.I would like to share my reactions and thoughts with you my friends.
Liar Liar is a funny and emotional story about a man who is torn between the seduction of materialism and the love of his son.The film shows the character of Fletcher Reede ,a guy who lies to get by.He needs to be a winner .He needs to have a good car ,the nice suit and the money. He makes all the wrong choices and it comes back to haunt him.
I believe that Jim Carrey's character;Fletcher makes you want to laugh and cry at the same time.To lie or not to lie it is a dilemma we all face at one time or another.
Carrey plays a lawyer who has to tell the truth for 24 hours. What a difficult task isn't it?.
The film was shot in and around the greater Los Angeles area, the main locations seen in the film include los Angeles International Airport, where the climax was filmed;down town's historic City Hall building and the New los Angeles City Jail.It also took place on a sound stage at Universal Studios.
After I enjoyed the film I thought about how complicated is for some people not to lie. That people seem to be in the struggle every single day.I feel pity for them.
Anyway, the key word here is to respect each other and by doing that you do not need to lie again.

ENTRY 18

Can video games be destructive to mental health? Can they actually desensitize people to the point where they cannot tell the difference between reality and virtual reality? The evidence will be presented for it, the evidence against it, and then I’ll show my own personal experience. You can draw your own results.
First of all, the evidence that video games promote violence. There actually is no conclusive evidence, either way, that video games cause violent behavior. But the games are violent, and in some cases do promote aggression, primarily in men rather than women.
Almost all first-person shooters are graphic and involve killing with high-powered weapons; blood and guts around are commonplace. One game’s claim to fame, Soldier of Fortune, is almost 200 different violent and bloody reactions to being shot, depending on where you shoot and the power of the gun. While these games are violent, there is still no conclusive evidence that they could influence a person to acting it out in real life. It still remains: games don’t kill people, people kill people. Some people cre ated game modifiers, to make it look like people, but then the games are not to blame, the people are.
And now, my own personal experience. Ever since I decided to do my essay on this topic, I have been playing extremely violent video games to see their effect on me. So far I have started and finished the Brothers in Arms Road to hill 30, Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood, Call of Dudy 1,2,3,Medal Of Honor 1,2,3.All these games related to WW2. So far, all of what this has done is taken away hours of my life. I have not had any violent thoughts towards anyone , and it is difficult for me even to imagine murdering someone.
My belief is still firmly pro -video games, even violent ones.A lot of people play, have played, and will play a number of violent video games in their lifetime. Video games are not to be blamed. Saying video games are to be blamed for recent violence like in the Virginia Tech Campus is not true at all.
Also, ratings are made for games. So my humble piece of advise ;check the rating and everyone will love each other again.

ENTRY 17

Everybody knows that when two older people meet in the streets, the first thing they talk about is the good old days. But were they really good?.I do not think so!!,perhaps they were different,or may be better to certain aspects.
According to many parents, people in the past felt safer ,they say that mums could send their kids to play in the streets without worrying they would be attacked or offered drugs by someone.
In what refers to wages, although they were much lower at that time, people's money just seemed to go further. For instance, many grandparents assert that in their times, they used to buy lots of food, and they also went out on vacation for several weeks without worrying about money. They also say that families felt more contented not only with each other, but by the government as well. But there are other reasons why that people feel that life has become infinetely less pleasant. Many years ago people did not have worry about pollution, crime and the terrible stress.
I believe that ,to a certain extent they are right. However,I consider that life is better nowadays. The standard of living is rising.People have shorter working hours, as a result they can spend more time with their families.Apart from that, today people are better educated, and with more opportunities in what refers to work.(better salaries).
Today's society is more open.Single mums are not ostracised, they have the freedom to decide what is best for their babies.
Althoug many people consider that they were happier in the past, there are factors and circumstances in life when this does not apply.
Many people look back at "the good old days" through rose-tinted glasses.
I know that life is not perfect today, but at least we have a bit more money and the freedom to decide how we want to live our lives.
OR NOT?

ENTRY 16

I do not need much time to realise that animals behave better than people. It is said that animals resemble their owners in the way they behave. But do animals are nicer than people?
may be yes, may be no ! !!!!sometimes!!!!or better said, very often!!!!.
Animals do not leave their cubs abandoned in the jungle or elsewhere in order to start another family or to escape from a responsibility.Furthermore, animals do not destroy the environment, like human beings do.Animals do not betray to each other ,especially in order to get power or to avoid troubles,as human beings are accustomed doing.I am neither a resented, nor a sad person ,I do not feel myself aggrieved.I am just stating the facts I know.I like to socialize and to be happy with my peers and family.
People should consider that there is a time to share with animals and a moment for sharing with people. From my point of view,I would say that "both sides of the coin"are important animals and people.

I would really like to receive your comments,so as to know your point of view about this issue.Or may be one of the previous ones .
DO YOU THINK ANIMALS ARE NICER THAN PEOPLE?
BYE,BYE................................................AND HAVE A NICE DAY MY FRIENDS! !!!!! !!!!!.

ENTRY 15

People like talking about their dreams because it is a good way of relaxing ,and what is more it increases peoples'good humour.
Trying to make a dream come true seems to be something improbable in our times. There are financial problems all over the world, but it is not so difficult if we try to focus in our main objectives ,and leave our problems aside.
One of the most usual ways of chasing dreams,is to study, because through a degree we are able to get recognition and a nice salary as well.Having finished a long career people can achieve dreams. For instance a post-grade course abroad, a trip around the world, and of course a respectable job.
For young children and adolescents , chasing dreams is very important for their mental development because through dreaming they are able to growp up happy and with a heart plenty of good feelings and emotions as well.
Personally speaking,I belive that chasing dreams is a an excellent way of encouraging myself ,because if I think of my dreams, my aims, I will be more determined in my convictions.
Nowadays, people should think of their way of making dreams come true ,by doing this, they will probably feel better, and they will be able to face their problems with a different disposition.
All in all, I firmly believe that everything is related to the COURAGE OF ONE'S CONVICTIONS

ENTRY 14

Education for most of us is one the biggest values in our times.People today are getting much more education than their parents did.
Many years ago, education seemed to be intended only to people with a high standard of living. Therefore,a lot of people stayed out of the system, like many parents of my generation .they were no able to fulfill their aims due to the fact that they had to work in order to feed themselves .

On the other hand, nowadays' education offers a wide range of possibilities, not only for those who have a good way of living, but for those poor people who lack a minimum income. The latter want a good education so as to get a worthwhile job. What is more having a nice job, they would be able to educate their children ,too.We know that their future is closely bound up with EDUCATION,so their struggle is hard to achieve their goals.
It is already known that education in Tucuman lacks of everything, such as good buildings, and teachers.
It seems that the Educational officials and our Ministry of Education are trying to fix everything, at least they seem to be resolute men and women,I hope they succeed in their enterprise.
I what refers to my life, I have been to overcome many educational difficulties so far , and I also know that I will have many more.I am not afraid of that.I just live my life, I enjoy my time now, today.I do not think about tomorrow, because tomorrow will bring it own problems!!!!.There is no need to worry!!!.Or not?
I am in the right track,I will keep up studying, until I complete my degree. Then who knows? When I get my hoped degree I will tell you.Till then,
SEIZE YOUR DAYS MY FRIENDS!!!!!

ENTRY 13

Hydrogen is the news again.Why?.Because fossil fuels are running out at an incredible speed.
I believe that our country should invest in laboratories, research centres, scientists and engineers to promote hydrogen as an alternative to petroleum. Moreover, those reserchers should find the way to reduce the cost and improve the practicality of hydrogen-powered vehicles.
I consider relevant the opinion of a well known engineer from Argentina. It states that President Kirchner must invest at leastU$S1 billion(in US 1+9 zeros,in UK 1+12 zeros)in order to start the long waited initiative to foster clean air and lessen dependence on imported oil.
The different ministries and deparments that are responsible for those areas.Such as, Economy, Health,Production, etc should conduct the marriage of automakers with energy companies. For instance,Renault with Shell,Ford and Fiat with Petrobras, etc to encourage research and set standards for refueling hardware.
Argentina should follow the example of Brasil in what refers to new fuel alternatives to petroleum. In Tucuman,Mr Alperovich should do the things that are supposed to be done by an elected representative of our province, like the correct control and regulation of carbon dioxide emissions of our battered public transport system, because when you look at those "buses",you expect them to explode or get burned at least.
All in all,I hope that something has to be done, and now!!!!otherwise our environment will be doomed.

ENTRY 12

Drugs are a serious problem in our society, but it is even worse among people who practise any sport. What was discovered recently in The Major League of baseball,is the latest blow to a sport that has been battered by thew issue of steroid use.
Everyone knows that the great majority of sports are enhanced by performance-enhancing drugs.
It happens the same in our country. We all are aware of Maradona's case. The poor man is still in the struggle for "escaping" from his addiction. But above all the main difference with the U.S,is its legal system. They do give punishment, such as 25 years in prison,u$s 500.000 in fines, etc.
On the other hand, in our legal system, drug dealers never go to prison. They neither receive life imprisonment, nor get maximum fines. If they are sent to prison, they receive a very especial treatment, they go to V.I.P prisons, where they can continue their illegal activities. The drug lords are rarely sent to common prisons.Bad luck to all of us,the good citizens, you and me the ones who build with our humble effort our beloved country ARGENTINA.
All in all,I would like to quote the following words from the BIBLE "LET US NOT BECOME WEARY OF DOING GOOD FOR IN DUE SEASON WE SHALL REAP A HARVEST IF WE DO NOT GIVE UP"
GALATIANS. 6.9

HAVE A NICE DAY MY FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ENTRY 11

Most pictures are about memories, and most people would like to re-live those marvellous times.I agree about using photographs retouching services.Althoug the fixing process is sometimes expensive,it is well worth doing the restoration. Moreover,if we take into consideration that everything is related to image, appearance, glamour, fashion and the T.V itself, altogether I would say it is a great choice doing the picture fixing.
I have recently surfed many web sites selling professional retouching services, and what I found and learned about that particular job was extremely amazing. For instance, one of this companies can clean up your skin or trimming a few inches from your waist.
Another company, is also able to edit people in and out of your best photographs.
One of the relevant aspects that I founnd in this issue, were the retouchers who specialize in restoring damaged photographs, use many of the same basic techniques and software available in most home-computers.
All of the restoration artists say it is crucial for them to provide as much detail as they can by scanning images at the highest possible resolution.
I believe that as a customer, I would choose a family photo to retouch.I agree with Mr. Winkler(owner of one of this sites)when he says;"I try to focus on what I do best, which is bring old or damaged photos back to life".
Finally, I would like to say that harsh reality is not what people want.

ENTRY 10

I believe that Mr. Bush should consider the withdrawal of all U.S forces from Iraq, inmediately.Stop the slaugther of hundreds of innocent civilians.Stop the U.S bloody business.Send the troops home now!!!!.
According to the latest news, conditions in Iraq may get harder before they get easier and will require an enormous commitment over time by the U.S government. The fact is that harder conditions mean in this context ,great U.S losses.
A great majority of the U.S population,is against this unprovoked and false war.The U.S government neither fight for "freedom",nor for the peace of millions.
The U.S government i fighting for money(oil),power and to stimulate its evil, brutal and relentless imperialism.
On the other hand, the Iraqi people are determined to fight against this cruel oppression .In fact they were born for fighting.
They have been doing this for thousands of years(because everyone knows their history!!!!)and they will continue doing the same thing;to fight, to defend what they believe is fair.
We,the Argentinian people,I think, would do the very same thing.
Another relevant aspect in this hot issue, is that every single day, more and more Iraqi citizens rise up against their imperialist oppressors.
All in all,the only thing to be done so far ,is to pray, not only for the world's peace, but for the families from both sides as well.

Taking care of the environment,is one of my favourite issues.I am a green person, I do care about global warming,I love living, sharing and bieng happy in our city.I like recycling plactic, paper steal, aluminium, etc so that they can be re-used again and again.By doing that I take care of my planet, and I help others who work and live by collecting them as well.
I am very happy, knowing that certain beauty industries are introducing ecologically sound business methods. As a customer,I like buying products with the label environmentally friendly .I believe that my purchase is my little contribution to the environment.

Tips: http://www.ecomall.com/biz/cleaning.htm
Choose products that are biodegradable and non toxic to humans and aquatic life.
Choose concentrated products, and be sure that they can work in cold water.
Choose products with a neutral pH.
Choose products in recycled, recyclable and refillable containers and packaging.
Avoid petroleum-derived ingredients. Instead choose surfactants derived from vegetable oil. Look for d-limonene and pine oil solvents.
Look for alternatives with sodium citrate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium carbonate, and sodium silicate.
Avoid phosphates, Choose products with a phosphate concentration of 0.5% or less by weight.
Avoid products containing chlorine bleach or sodium hypochlorite.

All in all, why don't we change our nature destruction-related philosophy?
IT IS UP TO US!!!! MIND YOU? I HOPE SO!!!!!!!

ENTRY 7

By reading the article,I felt hopeful about the Malvina's claim. We all know that the islands belong to Argentina. Moreover, knowing that some of the British media share our views,is something that sets a good precedent to later decisions. The British should start entartain the notion they might be better off being friendly to us.However, the islanders are adamant. They want to stay British, despite the fact that they are treated as citizens of 2nd category.Even though, they want nothing to do with Argentina.
I do not believe and I do not consider fair that in all dealings with Argentina about the islands'future, the wishes of the islanders should be considered as priority.
I believe that the best option our government have in order to recover the islands, is to gradually seduce the kelpers through the use of attention, affection kindness, and even gifts. Our current government and the successive ones, must be willing to devote considerable amounts of time, money, and energy in this process. In addition to that,we must be aware of the islander's needs and interests. For instance, very low prices in air tickets,a better education, and health servise than before, and very low taxes,to mention a few of them.
We must let them to know that they will be in better conditions under the Argentinian flag!!!!.
All in all,I am very optimist regarding this controversial issue, and I keep my faith that one day our beloved country, my ARGENTINA WILL EXERCISE THE LEGITIMATE RIGHTS OF SOVEREINTY OVER MALVINAS.

ENTRY 6

I have many things to correct in my life.Frailties that are difficult to erase or change in a blink of an eye from my soul. Not to worry, or not to get angry, or not to be sad to mention a few of them. Those feelings are present in our everyday life. Those are feelings that cause us suffering and pain.Feelings that we must get rid of and reject from our heart.Otherwise they will ruin our body and soul, and we have just one body!!!!!.
I don't want to sound over-optimist or careless or cold heart. The fact is that I do have my worries,I do get angry and I do get sad,but the big difference is that the time piriod of that terrible feeling is getting shorter everyday.WE WERE BORN TO BE HAPPY, NOT TO SUFFER!!!!!.
DIFFICULT, BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!

ENTRY 5

Nowaday my first priority in life is practising Tai Chi.You may think I'm a complete fool or a crazy person to say that, but the fact is that you don't know the path I've taken .I'll explain the whole thing so that you can understand why I believe that Tai Chi is my priority.
By practising everyday,I feel better than before (I devote 40' a day, at least), If I feel happy , I can study,I can work, I can enjoy my family ,I can reinforce the relationship with my peers and classmates, etc.
Now that you know my point of view, think about it, and whenever you decide to follow me, I'll be happy to show you the way to improve yourself.

ENTRY 4

I'm one of the lucky who found the path to happiness and fitness ,and that path is practising Tai chi.
Tai chi is recommended for everyone ,without age limit,it is for you and me ,for your friends and my friends. All the people are welcomed to this discipline.I hope some day we gather to share it,and I'll say:thanks for coming!!!!.
you are welcome to change your life, you are welcome to re-born.A new beggining is ahead.Don't waste your time, hurry up!!!

ENTRY 3

Everyday is a challenge!!!!!!!!.I have known this for years, and it comes to my mind every time I feel about to give up something. We are in the struggle of becoming better people every single day.To be optimist, innocent ,caring, happy ,pure ,etc. Those beautiful feelings that we lost them since our childhood, we have to find the way to recover them again, and forever.I'm also aware that finding the path to that "new world, new way of living"is not an easy job.It depends on us ,in our will, our hope, whatever it takes , we must find that path.A way to a longer and happier life.

ENTRY 2

I woke up this morning trying to think what to write in my entry, and I remembered that since I started practising Tai chi(a year and a half ago),I feel extremely better, in all senses.I'm not saying that I don't get ill anymore , but the frecuency of being ill has decreased to such an extent that has almost disappeared. My allergy happens once in a blue moon .Moreover, many other frailties of my soul have improved as well.
In other words, I feel happier and fitter everyday.
